REALTORS® from Jackson and Banks County who are members of the I-85 North Board of REALTORS® are planning to join hundreds of their peers for a Rally for Homeownership on the front steps of the Georgia Capitol Building.
The rally kicks off at 9:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 29. Gov. Nathan Deal is among the legislators scheduled to speak to the crowd.
“Housing plays an essential role in the economic recovery of Georgia,” says Gina Thrailkill, 2013 president of I-85 North Board of REALTORS®. “We wanted to show our legislators and elected officials that REALTORS® are here to support the continued recovery of the housing market, and that we’re keep an eye on threats that would hinder its recovery.”
The board has more than 60 members planning to participate in the Rally for Homeownership. The rally is a part of the Georgia REALTORS® 2013 inaugural leeting, a four-day conference running Jan. 28-31 that focuses on education and networking for REALTORS® throughout Georgia.
