Brissey scores game winning touchdown for Panthers

The Panthers had less than 90 seconds in a heated battle to whip up a sensational finish against Franklin County High School, and they did just that.

Just 1:22 was left in the ball game when Jackson County Comprehensive High School pulled the come from behind win over FCHS, who beat the Panthers 22-13 last year.

JCCHS scored 1 touchdown by ground and 4 by air – with completions to the end zone from Kyle Daniel to Layson Giles, Xavier Harper, Ben Brissey, and Dustin Scott.

Jackson County has a bye-week and will return to the gridiron Oct. 19 away against Hart County.
