The Church at Hoschton welcomes Sexton as pastor

Cory Sexton and wife Karla, pictured with their children, will be leading The Church at Hoschton.

Cory Sexton has been called as the Senior Pastor of a newly formed church serving the community, and he and his wife Karla will be leading The Church at Hoschton.

The Sextons will lead the services, church dedication and special music for the June 3 services to be held at the church’s new facilities located at West Jackson Shopping Center in Hoschton.

The congregation had been meeting at Lawson Funeral Home.

Anyone who does not have a church home is invited to join the services.Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. with worship at 10:30 a.m.

Sexton is also the Dean of Gwinnett Hall Baptist College and Christian Training Center.

“I am humbled, yet proud, to announce that we have recently been called as the Senior Pastor of an upstart church,” said Sexton. “We could not have imagined a more perfect fit for our dreams and mission to continue. We are drawn to this group of fine people, who through much adversity and, I’m sure great difficulty, have followed their hearts and their spiritual desires to be a part of something that is much bigger than themselves.

“The Church of Hoschton is our new home, our new ministry and our new mission,” said Sexton. “It is our prayer that God will do great things through this new work and that He will receive honor and glory.”

Cory Sexton Ministries a Christian growth and leadership ministry, and through his work as the dean of Gwinnett Hall Baptist College, Sexton says he is ministering to provide educated workers for local assemblies. Cory Sexton Ministries is also available for men’s meetings, couples retreats, conferences and revivals.
