Mill Creek offensive guard A.J. Ruechel has given a verbal commitment to play for the Air Force Academy and will sign with the Falcons on National Signing Day, Wednesday, Feb. 1.
According to Mill Creek head coach Shannon Jarvis, Ruechel made the decision this week. A signing ceremony will be held next Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the team room of the Mill Creek field house.
The 6-2, 250-pound offensive lineman has been a leader up front for Mill Creek for several years and led the team in pancake blocks his senior season.
According to Jarvis, more Mill Creek players will sign letters of intent, with most waiting until after National Signing Day as some are still making official visits.
